The Day After Tomorrow (2004)

The Day After Tomorrow filming locations include Los Angeles, CA, Washington DC and New York, NY

Mother Nature disaster flicks are a personal fave, even when they are completely ridiculous.    Science certainly was not my subject but even I could've done a better job on the accuracy.  But what The Day After Tomorrow lacks in plausibility it makes up for in special effects, which were top notch.   New York and Los Angeles once again take a beating via tsunamis and tornadoes while Jack Gyllenhaal has been bitten by the love bug.   And Dennis Quaid wins Father of the Year strolling from Washington DC to Manhattan to save him.
