The Marla Hanson Story (1991)

Model Marla Hanson made headlines in 1986 after she suffered a brutal attack and had her face slashed with a razor blade.  Marla's landlord, Steve Roth, orchestrated the attack, hiring two lowlifes to carry out the grisly crime after she declined his sexual advances.  She received over 100 stitches to her face and was further victimized by the judicial system.  The Marla Hanson Story was one of many women-in-peril TV Movies of the Week in the late 80s/early 90s.

The Marla Hanson Story was filmed in Brooklyn and New York, NY
